In recognition of his contributions to business, philanthropy, community development, and public service, Chief Obioma Success Akagburuonye has received the University of Nigeria Golden Jubilee Award, a Doctorate in Philanthropic Management from Freedom University USA, Fellowship of the Institute of Registered Administrative Managers, the Ambassador for Peace honour, and the United Nations Humanitarian Service Award. He also serves as a Justice of the Peace (JP) in Imo State.
